New video player design
Last night we launched a new design for our embedded video player, providing both a graphical overhaul and some new customization options. The new player allows you to switch between an “overlay” and “static” progress bar — you can make the choice by clicking the new “customize” link under the embed code on the video’s download page. Here are some examples of the new styles:
Overlay (default):
Static:
Current embeds will still display in the old player, because the old embed code isn’t perfectly backwards compatible with the new player. If you want to update any of your videos, just head to the download page and grab the new code. We’re also launching the Flash MP3 playlist and a new Facebook app shortly. Enjoy!

Thanks but i would also like to see a player for mpeg4. Like when we upload a video and the downloader has a choice to view it first, I would like to see that feature available for mpeg4 too.
Thanks again,
Mr.Dj

Can you put the default back to the static.
In addition there is now a white outline appearing around the upper and left side of the video that shows up whenever the embed is put on anything other than a white page.
And another thing to add is that the Overlay mode covers up the logo and url and makes it real trouble to ever actually click on in the bottom right corner. Because everytime you mouse over the embed to click the url, the controls pop up and cover it.

thanks for the new feature.
my only problem actually is how the video is being played. many of my visitors who watch the videos are saying the same thing. the video is somewhat late or pausing every 2 seconds. I just wish you will fix that. cos honestly thats the reason why I now seldom upload here in your server. my visitors actually like the google video better eventhough it doesnt have the full screen feature. I actually love what you guys are doing and this is the only server that I really like the most. Its the best server in the world. so pls fix that problem Im sure people would appreciate your site even more if you fix that problem.

I know I’ve said this before, but what is the point of rolling out all this stuff if the servers are still slow and unresponsive! Please just fix the core system before doing all these tweaks. Today I tried to upload a video, but the page just hung after I had uploaded it, and the video never made it onto the server.
Not that great really.

Yea,
please fix that white outline on the top, bottom and left sides of the player. It shows up if the background is anything but white.
Also, provide some sort of support phone number.

I just wish to thank you for the better service I have been enjoying lately. The items I’ve posted on my site are readily available and I had no difficulty having access to the divshare site. Thanks for always responding nicely to my questions and complains
