Labor Day upgrades and downtime
Update: On Tuesday morning, we’ll be doing one last software change on our new server setup. In the meantime, you may experience some problems with your login sessions expiring — we recommend using the “remember me” function to ensure that your session sticks. As always, drop us a line at support@divshare.com with any specific error reports, and watch out for those upgrades tomorrow. Have a great night!
Hey everyone, thanks as always for being a part of DivShare. Today we rolled out some new servers, which will mean a much faster and more reliable DivShare experience. Unfortunately we ran into some problems with a change to our nameservers, which identify the DivShare servers when you type in “divshare.com”, which caused an outage for many users for much of the day. We’re very sorry for the inconvenience, and we’ll be working for the rest of the night to continue to increase site performance and ensure that we don’t have any more downtime.
If you have any questions, let us know at support@divshare.com. Sorry again for the inconvenience today, and stay tuned for more new features and upgrades. For our American users, enjoy the rest of your long weekend!

I know you guys are a growing company and all, but this is kinda silly. You guys can’t make these transitions just a little bit smoother? I’m tired of paying money just to sit at my computer for two hours trying to get my files to upload, then writing to tech support only to finally come over here to the blog to find that you “improved” your service again. This is the second time I find myself sitting here wondering why I’m paying money to upload to you guys when Blogger offers free uploads and so do all of the other sites I upload video to. I like your service- I like the personalized players, but to be honest, I’m getting sick and tired of not being able to upload and share files which is what your site was built to do.
