The article says: “The self-funded DivShare, which consists of two 22 year-olds based out of a beach house in Delaware, has reached eight million pageviews per month since its December launch. The company relies on advertising to keep itself free.”
It sounds a bit temporary… Are you guys really here to stay?

The DivShare Groups and Profile got removed. You will no longer be able to find your DivShare friends.

A preview of this week’s big changes

  5. Sakimichi Says:

    Agrees with Raniie -_-

  6. Sakura Tenshi Says:

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
….TT^TT Raar =3 Thank you for answering my question right quick….but how come you took out that feature? I reallly liked that feature in where I could find my friends….>.

  7. Kyo is Kawaiiiii Says:

    Yuno…I kinda agree…. 0___0 And I don’t agree with much.
And Sakura They prolly took it off because they wanted to or something.

  8. Sherrie Says:

They took groups and profiles off because they said there wasn’t enough people using it. My group had just discovered this feature because… they don’t notify you via email the features here. If they had given it a chance, they may have been pleasantly surprised. Only the few that read the blogs knew what was coming. The rest of us were shocked. :(

  9. Tim Says:

Sherrie, if they did notify you of feature updates, it would be like every two seconds because they’re always changing things, and it gets quite annoying when a feature that was really great gets removed.

DivShare updates far too much, developers, it’s great as it is now, stop changing it.

  10. evan Says:

yeah, I just realize they removed group feature.
I think group feature is pretty useful…

  11. Marius Says:

    I totally agree with Tim.

  12. Ayune01 Says:

i wonder how long the duration of the maintenance will took?.
it seems i’ve trouble to upload and download from it.

  13. Anandawardhana Says:

I really appreciate it if you could post something here about what’s going on at the moment. I see lots of downtimes.
I’m hoping to get a Divshare direct account but I’m worried about the stability of your site.
Is this just a maintenance “hic - up”? Or is there any other problem with your servers or anything bad like that. Please keep us updated. I suggest you place this blog outside the main divshare servers. So in case of a downtime you can provide some update to prevent us from worrying :-) Hope everything is fine.
