With DS Direct, you never run out of transfer
One of the cool features about the new DivShare Direct is that, unlike your standard web host, we want your site to get popular. That’s why we’ll never shut down your account, even if you go over your Direct Data Transfer limit for the month. Instead, your Flash will just revert back to carrying the DivShare logo, and your direct links will bounce to a Download page before launching the file. This way, when you get Dugg, your media will never go down!
We’re changing the world of web hosting, one small step at a time. Hit us up in the comments with more suggestions and ideas.

^ Does that mean that you don’t want non-DSD to have “popular” sites?

Haha, nope — we want everyone’s stuff to be popular! What we’re saying is that if your site does get popular, we won’t cut you off or charge you overage fees if you reach your bandwidth limits, which is what a lot of other hosts do.

What are the actual limits for the basic free account? Storage / bandwidth per month? I haven’t found this on your site… Thanks

you guys should increase the disk space specially the data transfer for your divshare Direct cuz I really think that the pricing you have right now is a ripp off….

Hey crowen, with your free account, you can upload files up to 200 MB each, and you have no limits to the number of files you can upload or the data transfer you can use.

Hi Rob, that’s exactly what I was looking for, many thanks. I have to say thanks to my friend who pointed me your direction

I just joined in order to review your service for my blog on cheap and free utilities and Web sites, “Jonathan’s Tool Bar & Grill.” So far I am impressed, but have this suggestion: Please clearly specify any and all limits on free accounts, and the costs and benefits of paid accounts, right up front on your Web site. I could not find the 200 MB/file limit anywhere except in these blog comments. This makes me wonder what other limits you might be hiding, and how much it costs to get around them. Thank you.
