Scheduled Maintenance: 3 PM ET

DivShare is growing amazingly fast, and we’re working non-stop to keep up — both in launching new features and keeping the network moving as fast as possible. Today we’ll be taking some recently uploaded files down for a few hours to make some changed and upgrades to the network that should increase download speed and provide you with even more bandwidth and storage space.

The site will still be accessible during this time, but some files will be offline starting around 3 PM ET and lasting for about an hour. Let us know if you have any questions, and we’re sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks for being a part of DivShare!

    What happend to divshare?
Yesterday I was downloading my files with 3.5Kb and now sometimes the download dont even start.
Is this because the pro members?

    Hi Modkafros,

It’s not the Pro members, we just recently installed a new storage array that is giving us some problems and causing the slowdown you’ve noticed. We should be able to get everything worked out shortly — this afternoon’s work is part of that process. Sorry again for the inconvenience.

Are you guys still working on this problem?

I ask because I still get slow speeds.

  7. JDLC Says:

Slow speeds here as well. 7-8 Kbps

  8. Rob Says:

Hi guys, sorry for the continued slowness. One of our servers is still experiencing problems and we have a hardware upgrade scheduled within the next 24 hours. Until then we will do our best to keep the server running smoothly, and new uploads should be working well on the faster server. Sorry for the inconvenience again.
