Video Update: Full-Screen Goes Live

Cool new feature for ya — after hacking our way through some Internet Explorer issues, we’ve officially rolled out the full-screen feature of the DivShare Video Player. Check it out in this embed:

In the next week, we’ll be releasing a much cleaner version of the embed code, as well as a redesigned Flash player that hits on one of DivShare’s core principles — simplicity. Here’s a preview:

Also to come this week: Beautiful Flash image galleries to embed on your site, an MP3 autoplay feature for our embeddable player, and big news about increased file sizes and new uploading tools, some of which will be part of the new DivShare Pro premium plan. Stay tuned!

Do you know what will be really dope? If there was a menu, like when we see a DivShare player on site, we can cope the code to our site to post a video. Obviously with option for uploaders to allow or not this function.
    Sorry for wrong spelling :(

One recommendation would be to speed up the processing of video files so that they can be embedded more quickly. Unless there was a problem with the service tonight, it seems to take over 15 minutes (and waiting) for a reasonably short video to convert.

DivShare videos embedded in a MySpace page seem to work correctly viewed in Firefox but not IE. In IE the videos have a white screen and you must click the area to activate it and then right-click to view it to Go Full Screen for the video to display and run properly.

Any idea on what the problem could be? Once you place the embed code in MySpace the code seems to change after saving the edit and cannot be adjusted (except for the viewing area dimensions).

    Thank you.

Hi S, I just tried a video on my profile in IE7, and it seems to be working. Can you give us a link or some more details on the problem you’re having?
