Hey everybody, we’ve been working non-stop on DivShare Groups and will have those online for you tonight — but first, a quick maintenance update. We will be taking our first storage server offline for about an hour at 1 AM ET tonight to add a new hard drive array. This should not affect any files that have been uploaded within the last few weeks, and if your file will be affected, you will see a little yellow notice on your download page shortly. A quick way to check — if your file is downloaded from “apollo.divshare.com,” it will be affected by the short downtime.

We did the same upgrade last week on another server and it took less than half an hour, so it should be a quick, painless procedure. Thanks for helping us fill up those hard drives, and stay tuned for more news on Groups tonight!
