DivShare hits TV News
Wow! Since the site started circulating the big tech blogs this week, we’ve gotten a ton of great feedback and have skyrocketed to more than 7,000 users. And on Saturday morning DivShare hit a new milestone — our first feature on TV.
Check out this segment by Sree Sreenivasan, the tech guru at ABC 7 in New York City, who included DivShare in his top three cool new sites of the week. He says:

I’d like to see a progress indicator rather than just an animation. It doesn’t necessarily have to estimate the time left (although that would be ideal), but atleast show the percentage complete or something, so I can see that progress is actually being made.
Also, I’m really curious as to what the statistics (uploads, downloads, avg file size) for the site are now after all the media/blog attention.

Oh, and since there’s no way to upload large numbers of files easily from within a web browser, how about support for compression (such as zip). A user could upload a zip file with dozens of files in it, and the divshare server could unzip it and share them all individually.

I love the service…but whats the catch?? how do you plan on making money off the site??? Your bandwith bill has to be enormous!!

Amazing guys. I just discovered your page by searching for a good one click hoster via wikipedia. The reason why I choose you. I searched for a hoster with unlimited time. Since I saw your site and tested it - I was pretty amazed. I have seen many other pages: E.g. Rapidshare, and others, but I hate them, because they are full of adverts and have a very bad usibility.
Thumbs up guys. This is pretty amazing. If you can keep this service up with a high quality then you will hopefully come far! This page makes the internet become a better and easier place! Sharing files (photos,etc.) was never easier and better before. Thanks lots!
